I was born in Diano D'Alba, a little village full of wineries in the beautiful Piedmont hills, Italy.
Since my childhood, I was always drawing and enjoying myself doing it, I was loving so much placing colors together, mixing, fading and melting them.
My creations were full of colors and shapes, it was my essence inspiring me and my works, this gave me some clues about where my life was leading me. Life was guiding me in a very colorful way towards myself and my profession.
After the high school (Liceo scentifico) I went to university in the IT field, after that, some partnerships took place, like the one with Critical Path S.p.a. a multinational company with one central office in Turin; there I participate in the development of a web application that controlled an antispamming/antivirus machine in a custom hardware. Then I worked for a little Internet provider in the Pinerolo area where I extend my java and php expertise also teaching courses to other people that where coming from nearby companies.
During all that early experiences, I learned how to apply my creativity and colorfulness to the "cold" IT work, discovering how to do things from bottom to top and the beauty of developing IT in an artistic and colorful way.
Afterward I developed for some wineries the "Gvini" project, an easy but powerful winery management web application based on java/jsp, that was a bleeding edge project in the world of wineries management software most of which where still MS DOS based.
It was the beginning of my web designer and graphic illustrator career.
Later on my love for drawing and painting take me on the island of Tenerife in Spain where I knew the well known Italian painter Carlo Forte. With Carlo I build soon a strong friendship and from that, he gently teach me painting (figurative and intuitive) and help me to improve my drawing techniques, this, with the always shining sun and strong "African" colors present in Tenerife, permited me to greatly expand my creativity in painting but also in my computer work.
Now I live and Work in Tenerife for a large part of the year, taking my inspirations from its colors, fragrances, and from the majesty of its volcano.
My hobbies: horse riding, hiking, volley, travels, astrology, tarot reading, and...drawing and painting!
